Only a 1 because I can’t leave a 0! As a patient of Dr. Petit’s during her time with Christ hospital, I felt cared for by her and her staff. In trying to manage the transition to a patient in her private practice, I most certainly have not felt the same level of care. Sadly, on my first call to the new office I ended up talking with a receptionist who was only concerned with filling out forms, her telephone script, and what she had to say. I would have hoped that staff would understand that this level of skin care can be emotional. And, to hear that you can not even get a message about reoccurring cancer concerns to your doctor of many years definitely is scary. Then to have the receptionist continue to escalate the situation versus listening with understanding and support is definitely not what I’d come to expect from Dr. Petit’s office.
