Dr. Ellis is a very nice doctor, and seems very thorough and knowledgeable. However, based on my experience, he is quick to recommend surgery without exploring other options. I went to him on a referral for incontinence issues, and after testing, he recommended I have surgery, without discussing any other options. I did not have the surgery, and was later referred (by another gyn) to a pelvic floor physical therapist who worked with me to correct my problems without surgery.
