I consulted with two dentists before I met Dr. McWhinnie. Two dentists both said all remaining upper teeth should be removed before an upper denture could be made. Dr. McWhinnie said an upper partial could be made without removing any teeth. He provided a poorly fitting partial denture. Upper Partial Denture was designed with a clasp to attach to remaining teeth. The clasp did not fit onto the upper teeth as designed. Overall fit was horrible. An adjustment was requested. Dentist refused adjust the fit of the denture but did offer to accept the return of the partial denture. Dentist then disputed insurance payment received & indicated additional money was due. Insurance company was not able to arrange a refund. Overall experience was horrible. A third dentist reviewed the partial denture and upper teeth. Third dentist agreed with first two dentists about teeth removal. It was not appropriate to make an upper partial denture. Dr. McWhinnie never took x-rays & provided poor advice.
