So in Aug 2021 I met with him . I had stroke in June. He offered no further testing to see what could have caused stroke. Automatically assumed it was due to HBP. The beta blocker he wanted to prescribe could have killed me due to one I have asthma and it clearly states do not take if you have asthma and two being my BP is already on a lower end. Most times being 100 over 60 or 70. I recently saw a dr in Jefferson who did her job and sent me for further testings I am now under care of hemotologist due to a higher platelets count. My new neurologist is awesome and very thorough. I had cholestrol checked and I needed to lower my LDL from 106 to go lower. She offered a statin but is working with me to first try djet changes. Most likely my strokewasduetosticky platelets, stress and inflammation nOT HBPlike he asssumed. He answered 2 calls at my appt, was rude and arrogant. I am blessed to have found my new dr and had enough sense to not take his word. TIME TO RETIRE
