Recently sent to the ER by urgent care for further exam and diagnosis. A bit nervous given the circumstances, but put my faith in Falmouth Hospital due to my previous positive experiences. I was shocked when Dr. McGinnis laughed at me and sent me home without even examining me. I explained to him why I was there and he wouldn't even take the time to listen, instead offering me a consilation prize of a covid test (which had nothing to do with why I was sent to the ER). Thankfully my primary care called first thing in the morning after recieving the report from Urgent Care. They immediately saw me and then sent me to the hospital for more tests. At the hospital, I was shocked again to learn that I had been flagged for Covid. After reading the report from the emergency room it was noted that Dr. McGinnis had written up covid symptoms into the report. Again my current issue has nothing to do with Covid. Regardless, as Dr. McGinnnis patient I was not treated with compassionate care.
