A chronic foot issue led to an emergency problem and a holiday-eve visit to Suburban Hospital, where everyone was focused and compassionate. Soon I met Dr Engorn who was asked to assess my situation. Despite the holiday, he made me and my family comfortable and assured of his commitment to alleviate my problem. A thorough evaluation, working with other outstanding medical and nursing team members, led to a successful operation and complete recovery, despite my being prepared for a more prolonged treatment course. Many weeks later, it is clear the care was definitive as I have required nothing beyond what was initially recommended and my return to pre-illness function is complete. If I ever need anything done to my feet in the future, Dr Engorn is the first person I'll call.
