Patient Reviews
Apr 11, 2024
Dr. Howard is the least caring doctor I have ever had. He was very dismissive of all the symptoms I had of hypothyroidism post thurpidectomy. He didn't listen to anything I told him, did not seem to care about treating my surgery induced symptoms and constantly tried to say the textbook symptoms I had werent related or true. When I asked for advice before thurpidectomy to make a decision, he answered zero of my questions and talked in a circle. When I asked of side effects or consequences he did the same. And unsurprisingly gave me none permanent or temporary side effects of radioactive iodine when I asked. Thank God I researched that one on my own and didn't pursue it. I was told by a doctor at a different practice he left his Reno job at Sierra nevada specialty with zero notice to the practice, nor his patients. Obviously he does not care about them in the slightest. The office is also impossible to reach for appointments at almost any time of day and rarely returns calls from voicemails. I would give zero stars for most of the categories if I could.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
