Dr. Ormond is simply amazing! He saved my life without a doubt. He checked in on me while I was in the ICU (probably multiple times, but I was pretty zonked out) and seems to genuinely care. His personality can come across as a bit stern and blunt, but as someone who works with doctors all day, I can say that is pretty normal. If you want lovey-dovey, false concern, go to a pediatrician. If you want a stellar surgeon and surgical team go to Dr. Ormond. He is the only doctor in the state that performs a certain type of procedure for acute hydrocephalus that doesn't result in a shunt!
