Patient Reviews
Jan 02, 2022
My partner was suffering for months, from an undiagnosed paraesophageal hernia, and this guy had the nerve to insult my partner by asking him if he wanted a tummy tuck. We were outraged. If it hadn't been for a resident who took pity on my incessant calls and insist on a cat scan, revealing the huge balloon in his chest, he would have died. Once diagnosed, no way were we going to have this done at MGH, and we went elsewhere, finding Daniel Wiener at Tufts who then did the necessary surgery at Brigham's where he had just transferred to. I had talked about writing to the president and CEO of MGH about this abhorrent medical abuse but never did. I should have. He should have been disciplined. I can remember all of the names involved at every step of the way. MGH isn't the best for everything, and particularly not with this doctor who insults his patients rather than care for them.
