Felt like a police interrogation!'How long have you had hemorrhoids?'-my answer'About 40 years'. Him 'What makes you think you want to fix them NOW?'-me'To improve my quality of life, I just came from a trip and suffered from hemorrhoids the entire time.I just learned of this laser procedure (IRC) and have not been able to find a doctor that does it.' His reply 'You're not gonna die from them!'He tells me the “snipping “procedure 'he' wants to do,'he' can do in about 10 seconds. My reply 'I drove several hours can you do it today?I have an upcoming trip and would like to get this taken care of before I go.' -' NO, you would have to come back'.I called in advance to confirm I could possibly get same day treatment since I had diagnosis from several Drs and my ins. approved.I guess my time was not as valuable as his 10 seconds! I found another surgeon who worked me in and did the laser procedure SAME DAY since I had to travel. He said that the “snip” would not have fixed the issue.
