Dr. Willis was on ER duty when I spoke with her for advice after my prostate was removed four days prior. My gut was completely clogged and aching painfully. I couldn’t sleep at night. She asked me to explain my symptoms in detail. Then… SHE LISTENED (eye-to-eye conversation) as I offered my layman’s description of what I was feeling. She then described my symptoms in more medical terms, but in a way that I knew we were on the same page. She recommended a CT scan to be sure. There’s more to this story but the bottom line is that SHE LISTENED and we put together a flexible plan to relieve the symptoms that worked. 24 hours later I was free of pain, sleeping soundly and on my way to recovery from the prostate surgery. Thank you Dr. Willis. Thank you.
