Inconsistent, terrible doctor. Very rude, invalidates how ill you really are and is extremely cunning. Consulting doctors had advised her to follow a specific plan of care, to which she ignored & completely changed, unbeknownst to me. Even the nurses on duty were confused. When I asked her why she changed my plan of care that was already agreed and discussed without notifying me, she had no comment. This caused me a lot of anxiety, and I did not trust putting my health in her hands. Her lack of communication with me & staff members was uncalled for. It’s scary when a doctor doesn’t consult with their own team, and basically “does their own thing” and I would hope that is not a normal standard at Cape Cod Hospital. Hope I won’t have to return, but with an unclear discharge plan that was abruptly changed right before I left, I am left feeling like I did not receive the adequate care I as a patient deserved. Shame on Dr. Fuentes lack of professionalism.
