Our family’s experience with this practice was extremely stressful. Throughout my daughter’s pregnancy, we were repeatedly told that her baby had skeletal dyplaysia. These statements caused months of worry, fear, and emotional distress for our family. After delivery, it was confirmed that the baby was perfectly healthy and did not have the condition we were told to expect. While I understand that medicine involves possibilities, not certainties, I felt the communication lacked clarity, reassurance, and supportive explanation. Not to mention when in her written report she used the wrong form of measurement when documenting her findings. The way the information was delivered left us anxious rather than informed. I would encourage future patients to ask many questions and seek a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right. Our experience may not reflect everyone’s, but it was deeply difficult for us.
