Received a text message on Friday telling me that appointment the following Monday had been cancelled after waiting for over a month. Text message told me to call back "especially to reschedule." Called back and the person who answered put me on hold for a few moments after explaining the reason for my call. Another person answered a few moments later and I had to explain the reason for my call again. The person didn't apologize for the inconvenience, didn't explain why, just told me that because I'm a new client, I'd have to wait until July. Admittedly I was angry and told her to cancel the appt and hung up. I understand doctors are human and things happen. The people scheduling and rescheduling should, at the very least, act like they care. Also, the work shouldn't be put onto me as a potential client to call back. The team members who do the scheduling should be calling each person individually.
