We were very disappointed with our visit to Dr. Stafford. Perhaps she is better with young children. My 12 year old felt weight-shamed and condescended to. The doctor did not listen openly to our concerns and tried to appease us by ordering lots of blood tests which turned out to be expensive and did not add any insightful information regarding my daughter's condition. We went out of our way to visit Dr. Stafford maybe because we were biased towards the idea of a Stanford doctor. In the end, it was a huge waste of effort, money, and stress for the family.
