DO NOT COME HERE!!! Dirty, old and filthy place with very rude and unprofessional staff/technician/doctor!!! What a horrible place! No one answers the calls. I left a voicemail and someone finally called back to make an appointment with dr. Patel yesterday. Today I went to the office on time, nobody was at the front desk. Finally someone called me, no hello, no greeting, just rude and dismissive and told me that I will be seen by the technician. I reminded her that I made my appointment with a doctor and I was there to see the dr. Patel. I wish she told me on the phone yesterday that the doctor was not available, she would have saved me the trip. The rude receptionist informed me that if I were to leave it would count as the cancelation which was $100 (I was furious, I didn’t miss my appointment, I was there). She stepped out to talk to someone, I am guessing to the doctor. I sat down to wait….some woman asked me to follow her to the room. Again no hello, she never introduced herself like it happens in civilized places. She became defensive right away and started telling me about her 25 year experience as a technician. I explained that my appointment was with a doctor and that’s who I wanted to see. I explained that my referral was to the doctor and my reason for being there was to see the doctor. She stepped out to talk to someone, I am guessing to the doctor again. The technician came back after few minutes and told me that if I wanted to see the doctor it would count as a consultation which is $250. I said ok and asked to apply to my insurance. The technician said no and asked for my credit card. Now does this sound normal to you? After such a horrible experience and lies/confusion about my appointment I didn’t feel comfortable for my credit card to leave my sight. I said I wanted to leave because I didn’t feel comfortable. Overall experience was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! So how would a good, caring and kindhearted doctor allow this type of behavior. I believe she is as horrible as her staff because no good doctor would allow this to happen at her practice..
