I was referred to Dr Yakel for intermittent chest pains. My initial impression of Dr & the staff, was professional, pleasant & thorough in testing & assessment. They receive only 3 stars because Dr told me that after the final results were in I'd return for a follow up at no additional charge. I received email confirmation that I had no issues & no further tests needed. I cancelled my follow up appt. The office called & said that Dr still wanted to see me & that he had a 'small concern' that he needed to share & that he didn't want to discuss on the phone. I rescheduled, drove 90 miles round trip, Dr Yakel was not there, a fill in resident (I think) saw me & said 'well looks like you're all good, there's no need for further testing'. I asked what was the mystery concern that Dr. Yakel needed to share. He had no idea & said that Dr. didn't note anything. I received a bill for the follow up. Dr Yakel, staff & Carle health are about the money not me. My opinion changed to negative!
