Dr. Esberg was ok as an electrophysiologist when I took my loved one for a couple of office visits for her pacemaker. When he was told I had her now living in a Memory Care Home for her safety after a bad fall (which was difficult to do on my part) I was told “given her situation” there was no need to monitor her pacemaker anymore. I was disgusted. She can still be very lucid at times, and is still very much a living human being. Dementia is a disease that is so heartbreaking. As a full-time caregiver for both of my parents for over three years, it’s very sad how often I have seen the elderly viewed/treated as “throw aways”.
