Patient Reviews
Jun 29, 2023
First saw Dr Widener in ED at Northside hospital for my wife who had fallen and broke her hip. He was very good with his assessment of her and her extenuating circumstances . She had just started a new therapy for late stage ovarian cancer. He made it very clear to us that before proceeding with surgery he would be speaking with her cancer care team to get a clear understanding of what she was taking as well as to share with them what needed to be done. After being admitted he came back to assure us that he had been in contact with them and all was good to go with the surgery. Dr Widener had a very caring , kind professional approach to everything he discussed with my wife and included me in on each conversation. I would recommend him very highly . He was especially good with someone that has other health issues to take into account . Nothing more than excellence from him!
