Was referred to him for atypical hyperplasia. His intern spent the first 15 mins of the appointment gathering information from me that could have been read in my file. He then asked when I had a certain procedure done (I can’t remember what it was) I said I never had that done. He responded by saying well it’s in your file. Both my husband and I were frightened we demanded that this be figured out as I just went under for a D&C and were concerned that the procedure he mentioned had been done instead. He chalked it up to misreading it. After that he left the room and came back saying Dr. Pugmire wanted to do a pelvic exam. There was no mention of this during scheduling. There was absolutely no reason for this and I refused. He came back again and said he most likely wouldn’t see me then. I felt absolutely disgusted and on the verge of tears. He eventually came into the room and we discussed my case but to go through all of that before hand has traumatic. I won’t be back.
