Patient Reviews
Feb 25, 2020
I first went to Dr. Shellhorn in March 2019. My white blood count was really high. I finally ask Dr. Shellhorn about it in September. He finally looked back at his records and started sending me to other doctors. My neurologist found out I had mini strokes and harden arteries. Dr Shellhorn stopped my blood pressure meds. Deloxitin 90mg. , and he knew the Pain Clinic doctor wouldn't fill oxycodone 80mg. I went back to him and said I was worried about having a stroke and he didn't do anything to help me....I had a stroke January 18th. The deloxitin and the oxycodone should have been tapered off. If you want to completely put your life in his hands, be sure he thinks you are worth living. Dr. Shellhorn would take me off my medicine, with the MRI report he had of my brain. I didn't die. So I will warn you. Be careful!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
