HE answered questions that I did not think of myself and they really made me understand why my left knee and calf muscle were hurting. My history is 2 previous left knee surgeries and I am 65 years old now. The doctor explained in great detail and easy to understand conversation what was going on with my knee. I have had other ortho Dr's. In the past forget to do this. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Got a cortizone shot and can get one every 3 months. He also discussed how a partial knee replacement would benefit me more than a total. I already have 3 large screws and a plate in the tibia bone. No other ortho mentioned this option. Anyways I will be headed back to Planet Fitness and some jogging outside thanks to the good doctor. I learned more about my bad knee in 20 minutes than several half hour appointments with other ortho doctors. Thankyou Dr. Vanderbrook.
