Dr. Carpenter changed my life from difficult to great. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in June. After two lumbar epidural‘s, which did not help with my pain, I decided to undergo a spinal surgery— a spinal laminectomy of L5 and L5– in November 2022. The appointments with Dr. Carpenter leading up to the surgery were informative and very helpful. His experience and incredible knowledge in the area of neurosurgery is unmatched. While the first 30 to 45 days following surgery were difficult and painful, my recovery has continued to improve. Going into the surgery, I knew the recovery was going to take 6 to 8 months. With my follow up appointments, rehabilitation and PT, my back continues improve and feel better. Dr. Carpenter slowly added PT to my routine. I am feeling light years better than I was feeling 6 to 9 months leading up to surgery. Thanks not only to Dr. Carpenter, his amazing his staff is absolutely tremendous. Cari and Laura are compassionate, professional, courteous, and very efficient. I feel like I’m dealing with family.
