I have had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with post-operative care under Dr. Nguyen and her clinic. Following my double mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction, I’ve faced consistent delays, cancellations, and a lack of compassion that no patient—especially one recovering from breast cancer—should ever endure.The clinic is routinely behind schedule; I’ve waited over two hours on multiple occasions just to be seen for post-op appointments while in significant pain and emotional distress. Scheduling follow-up care has been a nightmare—appointments are months out, and several have been canceled at the last minute, even after I traveled hours to attend.One of the most heartbreaking parts of this experience was losing a nipple post-surgery and having to wait nearly a month for any corrective action. The lack of urgency or empathy was devastating. Breast cancer is an incredibly emotional and traumatic journey, and instead of helping me recover and move forward.
