Dr. Hollins was my PCP for approximately 2 and 1/2 years. I really liked him./ He was very nice and willing to listen to my concerns, until recently. I new I was about to run out of one of my medications. So, I requested a refill through the Advocate Aurora Portal 4 separate times. My Pharmacy sent 3 requests for the medication. No one was paying attention to the requests. So, I wrote directly to Dr. Hollins through the portal. I sent two requests that went unanswered. So, I sent one more and he finally answered with a call. When he called, he said "I believe you would be better served by another Dr." I said "OK"? Then he said "Goodbye" I wrote him through the portal again and explained, All I want is a prescription refill." He replied "I don't like anyone telling me how to operate my Business"??????? So, in retaliation he did give me one month supple of the medication. However, I cannot see my new Dr. for 2 months. I will be 1 month without my medication before I see him.
