Considerate and respectful and enormously knowledgeable

I had scoliosis surgery with one of the top neurosurgeons in Gainesville, dr Daniel Ho. Unfortunately after surgery I was unable to move my legs forward without assistance plus my wound had to be reopened and washed as it never healed. I was in pain for 2 yrs and was unable to stand upright for more than a few minutes. He never saw me in my post op appts and no one could answer my questions as to why this was happening. One of my friends recommended Dr Dakwar. After a 2 day 14 hr surgery to correct my previous surgery I am now pain free and can stand straight. I am on my way to walking without assistance and feel that I am also on my way to getting my life back. By the way I am 77 yrs old. Unfortunately I just received a letter from Cleveland Clinic stating Dr Dakwar will be leaving and I am broken hearted to learn this. I am sad to say that instead of saying I have the best doctor in the world I will now have to say I had the best doctor one could ever have.
