After a failed rotator cuff and bicep tendon repair, I visited many top-rated surgeons in the Bay Area to find somebody I could trust for revision surgery. I did extensive medical research and was able to engage the doctors in meaningful conversation. Dr. Laroque stood out like a shining star in all respects: knowledgeable, skilled, caring, and honest. She truly listened to me and addressed all of my questions and concerns with compassion and expertise. My initial trust was vindicated by an amazingly successful surgery that involved more complexity than anticipated. Afterwards, she carefully guided my recovery so that I would not reinjure myself. It's been six months and my shoulder is nearly back to normal and should be 100% in a matter of months. Dr. Laroque was a true angel and I felt fully supported throughout this difficult process.
