Indifferent medical care. My mom's pressure was 224/90 and she told her that the numbers don't matter, only symptoms because walk around with high blood pressure all the time with no problems and not to come unless she had signs of stroke or heart attack.

rude, condescending, brass. Does not represent the hospital very well. She needs to learn what its like to be on the receiving end of her attitude.

Per our family doctor, we were told to record my wife's blood pressure at home due to ongoing issues and to take her to the hospital if her blood pressure continued to rise. I took my wife to the Novant ER in Clemmons due to high blood pressure and severe headaches that have been ongoing for a few weeks now. Once we were back in a room, this 'doctor' decides my wifes blood pressure isnt an issue because at home recordings didnt matter and she only looked at her mychart blood pressure recordings. My wife and I both said this should be an issue that is addressed, this 'doctor' rolled her eyes and snapped at us saying blood pressure isnt a reason to come to the emergency room because its most likely from pain and stress. Some people are good at their job, and some people are better at selling shoes. I dont have much hope for her doing either.
