It’s with so much disappointment I write this review. I’ve been researching for a new gyno and a fibroid specialist for months until I came across Dr. Oslund. I waited about 3 weeks, confident after reading the amazing reviews I’ve read that maybe not I not only I had found a good, knowledgable Doctor, but also a Doctor that cared about her patients, as I had read in many reviews, something extremely hard to find now a days. I did an embolization last year that unfortunately my Fibroid did not get any smaller, and I was recommended to get a myotctemy. I was hopeful she was the one who I would leave feeling at ease and that she would be the Dr. I would feel comfortable enough to get this procedure done. My appointment was at 9am. I was greeted by a lovely young lady was extremely polite and sweet. I had filled out all of my paper work prior to the appointment so I wouldn’t have to do this while I was there, and I got called inside just a few min after my arrival and was told to wait inside at the patience office and that Dr. Oslund “would be right with me”. 50 minutes later, I was still in there without a single word from any of the nurses working there, or Dr. Oslund. When I went outside to ask how much longer would she take, and the response that I got from one of the nurses was “she will be right with you”. Another 15 minutes went by and at this point, I just decided to leave. When I left the room the second time to say that I was leaving, the two girls simply looked at me with an attitude, as if I was in the wrong, and simply said “OK” and one of them even gave me the shoulder. Not a single word more, not an apology for the long wait, not a single try to make things right or to make me, as a new patient, feel welcome and cared for. I felt completely neglected, uncared. I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional team, the clinic doesn’t make you feel at ease, or that you are in a professional environment, it honestly feels like you are in a party environment, with extremely loud reggaeton music (mind you, I’m Latina, and this just felt extremely uncomfortable and not appropriate, in my personal opinion). I’m sure tat based on the reviews, Dr. Oslund must be a great Doctor, but the first impression is what stays. I just kept picturing myself having to go to several doctor’s appointment after my procedure and having to deal with her unprofessional team and the long wait time. No thank you.
