I was so fortunate to have Dr Donelan delivery my baby at Northwestern recently. I can't say enough good things about my experience with her. I ended up having a complicated birth that included an infection and an emergency forceps delivery. Throughout the entire experience, Dr Donelan remained incredibly calm and kept us fully informed on the situation every step of the way. She throughly explained what was going on, what our options were, and the risks and benefits involved. She was not afraid to confidently recommend the best course of action for the safety of me and my baby, while always making us feel like we had a choice. She was confident that forceps was the best and safest option and that she could execute that delivery safely. She was right and did an amazing job. I am so thankful that I had Dr Donelan and appreciate everything her and her team did for me and my family.
