I went to Dr. Kuns about 3 years ago for some cavity fillings. Now, it is important to note that I have severe and extreme anxiety related to dental work that involves drills/cavities/etc. I was having a really hard time with her filling my cavities, I was crying, shaking, and struggling from the pain, and instead of pausing and trying to be sympathetic, she told me to get over it and that I needed to calm down because it didn't hurt. She also decided that if I couldn't "calm down" we couldn't fill the cavity. Needless to say, her threatening nature towards my anxiety led me to avoid the dentist altogether. I was never afraid of dentists as a kid, but Dr. Kuns changed that narrative for me. I am now someone who has to receive fully sedated dental care including things I never struggled with before like cleaning. Overall, I would not at all recommend getting any work done with Dr. Kuns if you have even a touch of anxiety related to dental work, as she will make you feel awful for it.
