Dr Zepeda was very dry and blunt. Her bedside manner, especially considering she deals with small children, is severely lacking. My son( who was 4 and 5 at the time always seemed down after leaving her office and it was frustrating for me to watch him try so hard just for her to tell me in front of him that he wasn’t cooperating. I could see that he was ! He cooperated with all of the staff and she would come in at the end and just read over the papers and say he wasn’t cooperating based on what she’s reading and that her tools are giving different results than what he’s telling her he sees. Once we chose a new Dr and started using her I realized actually how bad it was . I regret not switching sooner. He is 9 now and ever since we switched he no longer dreads going to the Eye Dr .
