Dr Bowman did a shin biopsy for basal cell carcinoma on me. He dismissed me without any wound care instructions, which I had to ask for the next day. He called with the report saying I had to come in to get it removed. He did not check his records to see it was an excisional biopsy. When I told him as such he said I don’t have to come in. He then calls back and says he did not go deep enough and I could observe it or have it removed. Been trying multiple times to understand with one callback I missed. I suggested giving me times to call in three patient portal messages. No one has gotten back yet.
