I had a positive COVID-19 home test, got to the urgent care to check what else can be done. The assistant did the test, and left me at the room WAITING. I could hear the comments that was being said about me and other patients outside of the room. He finally got in the room, to announce that my test was negative, that he didn’t have an explanation for my positive home test, and to treat as a common cold. Didn’t check my throat, lymph nodes, ask for my symptoms. He only asked if I had a cough. I told him that I’m not coughing much and my chest hurts and feels heavy. I did also. Mentioned that I had COVID-19 5 times the past 4 years, and that I had to be hospitalized twice. I mentioned that I believe to have it again because of the symptoms that I have, and felt before. After hearing that he decided to listen to my chest, and said “ everything is fine, maybe just some bronchitis”. Seeing his lack of interest in listening or helping, I said ok and left. Seeing primary care Monday.
