For the first time in an emergency visit, in over 3 years since moving to Oregon, I met with a genuine expert ER doctor that could immediately see how my heart was working hard while I was getting past pneumonia and triuble breathing ... he knew the lab work and additional imaging for him to properly assess and refer me to a specialist. He did not ask me how to treat myself and send me home confused and uncared for. Dr. Brentlinger intelligently and carefully orders the necessary lab work and imaging to properly assess and give the results and referrals to a specialist. He is very caring, compassionate, professional, and it's been so long since I had a doctor that I could trust with my care and was praying for that experience because I have been sick for so long and needed a real doctor.
