Having fibromyalgia I sought out a rheumatologist in the area and Dr. Bournigal was the only one I could find. He immediately diagnosed me with 'the worst case of osteopporosis' he had ever seen! Then he proceeded to prescribe gabapentin for my fibro and denosumab injections for my osteo. I was so frightened that I did not research these drugs or question him. On my follow up appointment, I had questions about the injection. He continued typing on his computer and never answered me! My payment for denosumab was $400 each time. Later I had to see an endocrinologist about my thyroid and this doc noticed that I was taking denosumab. I started having the injection in this doc office and the charge was $5.00! Same insurance! I no longer see Dr. Bournigal!
