I literally came back to my nursing home after m6 appt and sat trembling and completely lost 5.5 hours through ptsd disassociation. I have no idea where I went. This Dr was not a good person. The opposite. She reminded me of people who hurt me. Credentialism shouldn’t matter. She told me all about people she was supposed to be helping who are in nursing homes. She is telling them the opposite of what rights laws and regulations say that protect patients, instead , telling them things that err on the side of institution settings and the “system”! I gave her my website and several phone numbers for those people to call. I was yelled at the whole of my appt except the very end when she, out of the blue, pulled up a chair and spoke to me as a person, instead of hurting me like the whole of the appt. I had to go into survivor mode and defend myself, show her laws that I’ve helped get passed, regulations, but before that all she did was be aggressive, lie to me, show ego and credentialism.
