Patient Reviews
Apr 25, 2024
After having multiple visits with a different neurologist, I was hoping a more experienced neurologist would be able to find a solution to my head pain. Immediately, Dr. Young dismissed my classification of 'head pain' vs 'headaches.' 'Anything from the neck up is a headache,' I was told. Of course, that's not true. If I stab you in the head with a knife, that's going to cause head pain, not a headache. And as such, you will treat it much differently than say a, headache. If you get hit in the head with a bat, there is immediate pain one feels. Hours later, days later, you'll probably have a headache. I mentioned I failed multiple TOS tests at home, thinking that could be an answer to the daily head pain (for 3 years), but Dr. Young ignored my suggestion. Instead, she pushed me off to a 'headache' specialist a good 90 minutes away. No doubt, probably one of her friends. I've decided to seek answers elsewhere.
