I recently visited Dr. Faria M Khan, for a consultation regarding my persistent allergy-like symptoms. I had to wait for a month to secure an appointment, but I was hopeful that I would finally get some answers. During my appointment, I described my symptoms in detail to the doctor. Based on my description, she concluded that my symptoms were not allergy-related. Even though I expressed my desire to proceed with allergy testing, she advised against it and maintained that it was unnecessary. As a patient, I felt hesitant to question her expertise, especially because she was quite friendly and personable. Given her firm stance, I decided to trust her professional judgment and forgo the allergy testing. Unfortunately, a month later, I find myself still struggling with the same symptoms and seeking a second opinion. In addition to the emotional frustration, I also incurred a $50 copay and took a day off from work for this appointment, which ultimately did not yield any meaningful results or help. While I appreciate Dr. Khan, pleasant demeanor, I am disappointed that my concerns were not taken more seriously. In conclusion, if you're looking for an allergy specialist that will listen to your concerns and be open to exploring different possibilities, I would suggest seeking an alternative practitioner..
