Beware! If you are in pain and seen for weekend or emergency treatment, bring someone with you to read their forms carefully. This office said I signed their form waiving my right to bill my insurance for certain COVERED charges. As a patient who pays expensive monthly dental insurance premiums, why would I waive my right to have charges billed and instead pay cash out of pocket? They also charged me upfront for an elective procedure I didn’t ask for and knew nothing about. Don’t assume you will be reimbursed by insurance later once the claim is settled because they won’t submit all the charges and you’ll be out the money. Better yet, find another dentist.
