Patient Reviews
Jan 14, 2024
During a recent snowboarding trip in Utah, I had the unfortunate luck to hit a tree stump buried under nearly two feet of fresh snow, which caused me to do a complete forward flip, landing on my back and breaking two ribs. Although the doctors in Park City took great care of me and got me prepared to travel back, I ended up in extreme pain the next day, which necessitated a visit to the Mount Sinai ER in Aventura, Florida where I was seen by Doctor Azubuike, more commonly known as doctor “A”. As much as I understand the nickname given the challenge some might face when pronouncing her last name, Doctor Azubuike is an “A” rated, 5-star physician in my book, with any last name! She is caring, attentive, professional, and informative. Her demeanor was exactly what I needed in a real time of crisis from the pain I wasn’t able to deal with. I was surprised to learn after that her specialty is pediatrics, but that too, makes sense because she is the kind of doctor that I would definitely want my children to see. Turns out, she is also an avid snowboarder, which allowed her to better understand exactly how my injury occurred. It is with pleasure that I can give my “A” doctor, Doctor “A” this review. She has certainly earned that and more. Thank you, Doctor “A” for taking such great care of me and making me feel far better than I was when I came in today to see you.
