It was while she was still a resident at National Jewish, but after I had had a reaction and needed to take an epi pen, I had left a message that went unreturned for a couple days. After calling back, she finally returned the call and said she'd have gotten back to me sooner if it was "important." Since when does having to take an epi pen mean "not important"?
