Absolutely unacceptable to harass a Medicaid patient by assigning a substitute psych doc during Christmas Eve and Day, then immediately starting to bill them after discharge, saying insurance didn't cover it, even though every other psych visit of the month long stay was covered. Cannot personally deal with this doctor's billing department, and the hospital, Medicaid, and HAP insurance send me in an endless loop trying to place responsibility on someone else. If I had known this would be a year-long nightmare, I would have refused treatment, if I could have legally done so. I am autistic and having to deal with people on the phone over someone else's mistake is pushing me to autistic burnout.
