Dr Kramer was my first physician in my HIV journey. I want to thank her for her experience, expertise, knowledge and overall concern for those of us living with this disease. When I first met her, I was shocked, scared, stressed, embarrassed, etc. At that time, I saw her at 5p21. I learned a lot from her, about the disease, about myself and my journey ahead. I am now 61 years old. Within a couple of months of my diagnosis, I found out I was pregnant. She referred me to Dr Alice Stek and between the two of them, I received so much trust, knowledge and guidance. Although I delivered at 28 and a half weeks and my daughter was just under 2 lb and 13'long, they continued to guide me in the right direction. My daughter, De'j'a, will be 28 years old in January. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and people coming to your life at the right time. Thank you, for your part in saving my life and my daughter's.
