If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dr. Verdial was very kind during our office visit, however having my concerns and questions answered in the MONTHS that followed has been nothing short of a nightmare. I sent my test results to another physician for a second opinion and they recommended more imaging. When I requested to discuss with Dr. Verdial and schedule additional imaging, I was coldly shut down by her nurse on Patient Gateway. I had to travel out of state for the additional imaging and when my other doctor again recommended further imaging (MRI) once again Dr. Verdial’s office was less than helpful in facilitating any actual contact between me and Dr. Verdial, offered no suggestion for how to schedule imaging with a prescription from another provider, and pretty much wrote me off for getting a second opinion. Triage nursing staff and schedulers need some serious bedside manner training especially when dealing with patients with concerns relating to breast cancer diagnoses.
