Dr Frederick Scavone KILLED MY MOTHER , He was my mothers podiatrist for many years . She was diabetic and went to him for nail cutting . On one of these visits my mother had a ingrown toe nail and was prescribed antibiotic LEVOFLOXACIN 500MG ( a black box warning medication ) Black box label medications are very strong and can lead to death . Why prescribe this medication to a patient with already existing health issues ? My mother trusted her doctor of many years and took the antibiotic 6 days later her lungs collapsed and she passed in her sleep . Let this be a warning to any new patients of Dr Frederick Scavone
