I waited over 20 hours after being brought in by ambulance to University of Michigan Ann Arbor Emergency Room. When I had not seen a single doctor at this point, I asked to speak with the attending physician (Dr. Frederick Korley). He was unbelievably rude and dismissive. He stated that 'I had been treated by the previous shift's attending physician (not true) or that 'I did not remember being treated by a doctor'. I asked to see a cardiologist. Dr. Korley stated that they did not have any cardiologists on staff. I knew this to not be true from many previous visits. He asked to clear the ER Exam Room for other patients. I agreed to wait in the hallway(in a wheelchair), but asked that I not be discharged after my unreasonable wait time. After I was there, a staffer related to me that he notated the record with 'patient refused treatment' and that I had been discharged, against my specific instructions. This made it impossible to see a cardiologist. I sought treatment at another hospital
