When I lived in Port Townsend 25+ years ago, Dr. Forbes saved my life. He did so by taking my 5.9 & 6.0 A1Cs seriously as pre-diabetic & making me do the same. He sent me to a nutritionist at Jefferson Healthcare who showed me how to manage my life to manage my health. My highest A1C since was 6.7 and I am still not on any medication or insulin.
