Dr Roggin does not accept Medicare assignment. His office supposedly submits to Medicare after you have paid for the visit up front. I am finding that over 15% of the time the paperwork is never submitted so I am not reimbursed. Over the past several years I have failed to receive about $1,500 in reimbursements from Medicare who says they have not received the claim. The doctor’s office says they submit them ( not electronically by the way) and that they do not have the staff to follow through with the filings. It is totally on me to do the follow-up. Medicare says it is the doctor’s responsibility and the doctor’s office says they have submitted and that is all they are required to do. I wonder how many other senior citizens are out of money because this doctor’s office is run in such a shoddy manner.
