My wife was a dancer for about 23 years, in her early 20's she had spurs removed on her Achilles and needed it again when she reached 50. Dr Poniros was one of the nicest and most patient Drs I have ever met. While she still has a little more time to fully recover I think he did a fantastic job. Fast forward to me now having issues in my Achilles, I've been to PT per his order and now a boot for 4 to 6 weeks, I fully expect I will still need the spurs removed myself and I want him to do the surgery. I might get arthroscopic surgery but trust him 150% to get me through the insurance hoops and to do things right. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Poniros, super nice, super patient and answers any questions you have. Rare bedside manner, and he'll be on my list all the time.
